I enjoyed making a felted fungi 'tableau' recently in the Great Glasshouse at the National Botanic Garden of Wales' contribution to Wales Fungus Day (part of UK Fungus Day). I was amazed at how many of my felt pieces made over the years resemble parts of the natural world. What I created really did remind me of a woodland floor. I added some quartz crystals and quite magically local hero Myrddin, (Merlin) popped up in the midst of the textile tangle. Later a pink and gold goddess with a wand appeared and cast a spell on all who came by..................
